DRIVER PROFILE
Parsley was the 2005 Main Event Racing Series Champion with one feature win at the Toledo (OH) Speedway to go with an impressive eight Top Five finishes in 11 starts. Parsley also ran the full season with the CRA Super Series where he finished fourth in the final points standings. Parsley took two feature wins including the 2005 opener at the Anderson (IN) Speedway. This was the second time in three seasons that Parsley would win the CRA Series opener! Parsley would win one more feature in September at the Mansfield (OH) Motorsports Park.
Parsley was the 2003 CRA Super Series Champion which was highlighted by a two wins at Anderson including the 2003 opener and again in the Anderson 400. Later in the season Parsley clinched the CRA Series championship with a win at the famed high-banks of the Winchester (IN) Speedway during the Winchester 400.
Parsley's racing career began in Go-Karts at just eight years old. The Shephersville, Kentucky driver was the 1993 and 1995 Kentucky State Champion. Parsley advanced into full bodied cars and ran in the Late Models division at the high-banked 1/4 mile of the Highland Rim (TN) Speedway. He also saw time at the now closed, Louisville (KY) Motor Speedway.
In his rookie season in the Kendall Oil Indiana Super Late Model Series (Now CRA) in 2000, Parsley finished 14th in the final points standings while finishing fourth in the rookie title chase to overall series champion and rookie of the year, Scott Hantz. In 2001 and 2002, Parsley finished 10th and 15th respectively before his championship season in 2003. In 2004, Parsley was ninth in the final standings.
For the 2006 season, Parsley will make select appearances in both the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions while also running a limited schedule of events with the CRA Super Series and the Main Event Racing Series. |
